Having been born and raised in Ottawa you see a lot of changes to the city over the years. No matter where life has taken me, Ottawa has always been my family home. I still see and keep in touch with grade school and high school friends. My high school has since been turned into a Walmart and other box stores, but the memories still flash through my mind when I drive by. Having employment in the banking industry and 12 years with Dep’t of National Defense, I went back to school full time as a single mom for computers and IT which I did for 9 years. Then, I discovered real estate in 2006 and never looked back. My niche has always been the Administrative and customer service side of things. Seeing the real estate market trends over the past 15 years, convinced me to invest in property as opposed to the stock market and it has been working well so far.
I love helping and connecting with people and being a part of a dynamic team that is based on helping people with some of the biggest decisions in their lives, allows me to do that. Other loves include all animals, family, especially my son, who after graduating University, is taking a few years having an amazing adventure working and travelling in Australia. A former Ottawa Rough Rider cheerleader, volunteer fitness instructor with YM/YWCA, red belt in Tae Kwon Do and studied piano with Royal Conservatory of Music; today my activities mainly consists of walks with my dog, biking, jogging, and participating in the annual Terry Fox Run. I do tend to hibernate during winter unless travelling to warmer areas and getting together with friends when opportunities arise.
